Here is a run down of the things that have been going on since then:
July:
- After about a month of the summer fun chart. We decided to give it up.
- Mom has to ban the kids art club and make new rules about boys and girls upstairs at the same time. Mom has to put away her art history book because of its realistic art paintings and sculptures.
- Bethany's birthday and her Mom's R&R
- We go geocaching as a family and see some poisonous snakes
- It rained on the 4th so we skipped the fireworks
- It rained all day almost every day in July. We played inside a lot, wishing we could go to the pool more. Zora enjoyed all the cuddles with her favorite people.
- Lots of bugs in the garden. I had to pick them off daily to keep the garden alive.
- Getting ready for the Pioneer Day breakfast, a ward activity the Primary = Missy = in charge of.
- Jay's Dad fell and hit his head. Slipped into a coma.
- Jay's Dad came out of the coma for one day.
- Missy attends cub scout planning meetings for entire days.
- Jay leaves for Wyoming
- Missy and the kids go to a Dive in Movie at the pool.
- Missy and the kids put on the pioneer day breakfast for the ward. Joshua makes awesome pancakes better than Mom's pancakes.
- Jay's Dad passes away.
August:
- Missy gets 12 inches cut off her hair
- Missy and kids drive to Wyoming to attend funeral. Elliott misses a scout camp, We are still awaiting our refund.
- Missy, Jay, and kids drive home.
- Michael's birthday - Michael chooses to avoid any family contact except for the family to drop off his birthday gifts. He cut his hair and looks very handsome.
- School starts. Michael is doing homeschool this year.
- Joshua's Rheumatologist after 2 years claims he is not arthritic and refers him to a orthopedic. Thanks for not wasting our time. SO FRUSTRATING!
- Josh gets his quad removed from his mouth. The roof of his mouth feels weird. Still has to keep the braces on for a while.
- Some other appointments.
- Mom discovers Elliott has been looking at picture on the internet. Didn't think he could after we locked everything down after Michael's affair with pornography. UGH! Boys!
- Kids collectively lost at least 10 teeth. Bethany was the most with at least 5. Tooth fairy is broke!

Bethany's Mom came home just in time to be carried in as one of Bethany's birthday presents for her party at Chuck E Cheese. I missed getting pics of the present opening, but I know Bethany felt so very special and loved.

We really didn't do anything too exciting except for attend the funeral and that was more sad and exhausting than exciting. It was a long boring summer. We are so happy to be back in school and on a regular schedule. I am waiting for calls to substitute. Nothing yet. Bethany and Elliott are demonstrating some hardcore ADHD behaviors and we are adjusting. Joshua seems to be reading better. We worked on it some over the summer. I've been knitting a lot. Made some stuff for my soon to be born great nieces and nephews. Worked on my sock. I've read a lot of books this summer and watched the entire series of Star Trek Voyager. Beth is looking forward to her 8th birthday. Jay has been planning our next family vacation to a hike into a wilderness area.
